It is the mission of SHARE THE LOVE CHARITIES to make a significant change in our communities by combating the very origin of the dysfunction in society rather than superficially dealing with the aftermath of it. Instead of trying to change laws and policies that are rarely effective, after a tragedy "mass shooting, dui manslaughter, domestic violence" stricter laws do not address the underlying causes of this kind of dysfunction., but Substance abuse and mental health treatment does

Hi I'm Scott Anderson founder and president of:
Share the Love Charities, Inc.
I have worked in the behavioral health field for over 20 years providing quality comprehensive substance abuse and mental health treatment as a licensed psychotherapist and board certified addiction professional. I think most people would agree that society is in crisis large in part because treatment services for mental health, substance abuse and the homeless are at best ignored and inadequately funded both at the state and federal level. Nearly 60% of people in desperate need of treatment go left untreated to suffer needlessly simply because they cannot afford treatment. This is creating a tremendous burden on our society's well being. Nearly 1 of 4 Americans suffer with substance abuse and mental health issues. There are 700 billion dollars in annual costs related to crime, lost work productivity and health care in the united states as a direct result of untreated substance abuse and mental illness.
I created Share the Love charities as a way to take a stand and fight to heal our ailing society by helping those in need of treatment and assistance. With the generous donations we receive, we provide treatment services for those suffering with mental health and substance abuse, as well as provide wellness support and care kits (food, clothing, hygiene products, etc.) for the homeless in our local communities.
